Live Reaction to the Chauvin Verdict

Unless you’re living with your fingers pressed tightly into your ears and screaming at the top of your lungs with your eyes closed, you’re aware of the trial of former Police Officer Derek Chauvin for the death of George Floyd.

Your hosts, with a combined 50 years experience in law enforcement, fire protection and EMS, came together as soon as it was announced a verdict had been reached. While many have made this case purely political, others have tried to make it the greatest case of all time or something to be dismissed.

While passions run hot, your hosts keep their cool awaiting a decision that could literally lead to the destruction of not only property in Minneapolis and other cities, but in trust in law enforcement.

We fired up the microphones and awaited the verdict telling stories from our past, revisiting our observations of the trial and expectations for the results.
